The latest version of MalwareBytes adds Ransomeware Protection. This type of infection, from simply clicking wrong, can cripple your business system by encrypting all your files. This encryption renders all your important files inaccessible. This process can also jump to “business mapped drives” which are housed on business server systems. These systems typically house all your companies important shared documents, pictures and applications. One click on the wrong thing and you could lose your entire shared system.
Its important to have a system in place on individual machines to thwart the threat imposed by an accidental click.
